WILDLIFE & WALKS

In the South of Skye

The Sleat peninsula has some of the most beautiful, and sometimes challenging walks that reflect the more gentle terrain of this southern end of Skye. Wherever you go there will be something to see - may be an eagle soaring overhead, deer on the hillsides, otters playing on the shoreline or basking sharks and dolphins making their way down the Sound. Just remember to keep your eyes and ears open and take time to look around you - you may be surprised by what you see!

If you are looking for more of a challenge then Sleat is only a short drive away from the iconic Cullin Ridge where you can walk, climb and bag Munroes and then retire to some fantastic coastal scenery and quality accommodation.
